The Charade of Politcal Propaganda

The Hopi (among other tribes) have the tradition in their sacred lore that the world of Man has been destroyed and recreated several times. They say that another is coming soon. What better evidence have we that they are correct about the antiquity of Man than this: We have forgotten those calamities. I can think of no better allegory of it than the nature of man’s memory; at birth long-term memory is virtually non-existent, while short-term memory governs all our development. By the age of senility it is reversed, and we can’t remember who just farted, or where we put our dentures. So it is with humanity and what we seem capable of learning and retaining.

Reincarnationists propose that somehow, despite having no recollection of a former life, we figure out where we screwed up and eventually get our act together. Some of them however, think we come back because being here is fun—there is nothing better to do. Frankly, I find such an ideology the very expression of hubris and vanity. This observation aside, the One Thing (RIP, Jack) Man has never gotten through his head, much less retained over the years, is the principle of Divide and Conquer.

Just what do you think is the modus operandi of those movers and shakers behind partisan politics? For centuries, if not millennia, the ploy used to gain power is to divide the opinions of the masses into two groups, which is then managed so that at the very least, people will be in favor of the least evil. But choosing one evil over another is still empowering evil, and eventually the twain consolidate into one—Conquer.

Now do you understand what is going on between Trump and Hillary? Listen, there has not been a single presidential candidate since 1913 who was not also a darling of the Establishment. Every one has been a member of the CFR, or the cabal that was its predecessor. The Establishment is NOT worried about Trump taking office. Nobody of wealth ever gets to be affluent but what they have and do pay dues to these people who control the world’s money. How do you think Ross Perot got defeated? Why do you think only two political parties are covered in the corporate owned Media? Take a look sometime at the corporations whose top officers are members of the CFR. Look at who are officers of the Federal Reserve. It is so long a list you risk developing esotropia. Where do you suppose they come from? Anyone who has emerged as a financial tycoon has been favored and/or controlled through those at the top, grooming them as eventual replacements. Trump is no exception. As a negotiator he knows how to bullshit.

It happened before, but most people today not having direct experience with the rise of National Socialism cannot discern this strategy.  The supposed antipathy of the Establishment toward Trump is a pretext, an intrigue to disguise their hand behind his popularity. This is how they modulate the energy of dissent and still come out achieving their objectives.

But the memory capacity of most US citizens is like that of the toddler, or the cult dupe, who allow themselves to be swindled over and over again.

“A fool cannot be protected from his folly.  He will allow himself to be repeatedly swindled.”—Robert Heinlein

They never stop to think that other candidates far more capable also present themselves, because they’re too lazy to go look and discover they’ve been hornswoggled. But better yet, they don’t step back and fully grasp how the entire system of our present government is rigged by the employment of bribery. Money always talks, especially in a deflated or inflated economy.

Personally what I find so disgusting during political campaigns is not the supercilious speeches and media hype. It is my fellow Americans who repeatedly fall for this time-tested and threadbare ploy of manipulating their perceptions. When are you fellow citizens going to exit the Matrix?

Don’t you understand that creating situations that provoke your ire is precisely how they maintain control of your decisions? What the hell do you think the Brussels explosion was all about? The London bombing? The Spanish bombing? The European immigration problems? The American immigration problems? The mass murder of innocents in Norway? The Boston bombing? The Trade Towers debacle? The Oklahoma bombing? The Davidian massacre?

These are not unrelated events. They’re not caused by individuals going off the deep end because they can’t get social satisfaction. How naïve. Those people are patsies.

“The terrorist is one who lacks skill of persuasion, and seeks to extract on pain of death extreme fervor and faith from his prey. Terrorists arise when the people have lost their vision and self-respect.”—JB’s Book of Dictums

How do I know this? Patterns. A chief skill required in my engineering career was the recognition of patterns. Through that I was able to discern and quickly resolve problems at their root. That skill carried over into the study of history.

It doesn’t take long to recognize the same operations being conducted by the banksters from before the Revolutionary era to today. It was used by the Romans. Used by the moneyed Jews during their occupation. Used by all their national predecessors to earliest recorded history. It is implied in the Pyramid Texts. Pharaohs, Priests, money handlers. Oligarchs, Propagandists, Thieves.

"Why of course the people don't want war ... But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship ...Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy.…. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”—Hermann Goering, Nuremberg Diary

It is a well established fact openly disseminated to the world during the Iran Contra debacle (Oh thank you! Ollie.) that the CIA is actively involved in the trafficking of contraband drugs, money, weapons, explosives, and the exploitation and subordination of unstable True Believer personalities for the sole purpose of provoking, destabilizing, and/or overthrowing governments with their constitutions around the world. This IS what they do. (Why do you think cannabis, the most versatile plant ever, was made contraband during WWII? Corporations didn’t want their market dominance undercut by wartime shortages. Shortages = higher prices/profits.) The CIA has its roots in the OSS (Office of Strategic Services) of a century ago, as do all the other intelligence agencies established in foreign countries. And they cooperate together in orchestrating these provocations to inflame and terrorize people’s passions. They do this so that some Right or privilege the People will beg to have taken away in the name of security.

Joachim Hagopian’s essay on Global Research (Ruling Elite Grow Desperate), Patrick Buchanan’s article on the Oligarchs killing Trump and the like are obscuring the facts. When did you last hear of anyone motivated by pure altruism? Trump wants to do something about the condition of our country, said he. Oh really? Are we so credible that every previous president who has asserted essentially the same thing for more than a century doesn’t alarm us of a rat at the camera? Naïve and hopelessly gullible, sometimes I think of my fellow Americans. Especially the Millenials and quasi Millennials. The Oligarchs have them tethered by suture thread in their septum..

“When something is proposed for genuine ‘public good’ it will be proposed by the public. When it is proposed by a politician or wanna-be, run for the hills! It is being proposed to enhance their financial condition.”—JB’s Book of Dictums

I can’t help thinking I’m pontificating to the choir here. Those that need to ponder on these things the most are too busy on Facebook trying to impress one another with their regurgitation of hearsay, rather than bending their minds to the study of history. How important is that, you may ask?

JFK tried to do the same thing that Lincoln attempted: print interest free money by an act of Congress. His education in the most prestigious institutions did not alert him to the impending hazard. He met the same fate for the same reason by the same business interests. He was a bright fellow, but did not learn well how the system which propelled his family into wealth was the very system which blew his brains away.

There is no safety from collateral damage inflicted by shadow organizations, except learning the lessons buried in the past, and taking control of your Rights, perceptions, and guarding your privileges. Credulity in a child is sometimes amusing. In an adult it is an abomination.

The Rape and Pillage of Liberty

The Federal Republic of America

“We have but one ORDER in America, and that of the highest degree, the ORDER OF SOVEREIGNTY, and of this ORDER every citizen is  member of his own personal right. Why then have we descended to the base imitation of inferior things? By the event of the Revolution we were put in a condition of thinking originally. The history of past ages shows scarcely anything to us but instances of tyranny and antiquated absurdities. We have copied some of them and experienced the folly of them. . . .” Constitutional Reform (The Thomas Paine Reader P536)

The magnitude of Government Mandated Opiate in the form of propaganda distributed throughout the public school system is unparalleled in the history of Man. Nowhere do we find the production of ideology in social and educative media so extensive that it mimics stage 4 cancer, than is found throughout world civilizations of the last 200 years. We citizens have been served up a diet of misconceptions, distortions, propaganda, and outright lies concerning our country’s history and its political foundations.

Recently Chip Bok produced a cartoon lampooning Mitt Romney which exemplifies the disingenuousness of politicians, and the public’s gullibility: http:/bokbluster.com/category/politics/2016-presidential-campaign-politics-trump/

Of these two public phenomena Hannah Arendt wrote extensively, which I shall examine later.

It ought to be recalled when the creature entitled The United States of America came into being. I doubt that the vast majority of citizens in this country can accurately answer this question. Many will first think that it was when George Washington became President. This is an error. George was never president of the United States of America. George was the first president of The Federal Republic of America. John Hanson, the son of a Swedish immigrant, was the first president of the United States of America, and was followed by six more, until the form of the Union was dissolved. This is the locus of the first lie and its attendant propaganda fed to us in public education and media. Here I differ from the Founding Fathers  Edmund Randolph, who split hairs over the meaning of Federal vs National at the Convention, and James Madison who characterized the Constitution as both Federal and National.  Virtually everyone at the time, particularly among the Delegates, had a different concept of what form of government they were seeking. Franklin’s comment to Peter Collinson of 1754* about no one having an undistracted concept of Union was just as applicable during the Convention of 1787.

How do they get away with it?

First, people are credulous, tending to believe what they hear. If it weren’t for that, much of what exists in modern society would not function. Our money system would soon break down, as it so often nearly has.

Second, people are ordinarily so busy with the maintenance of their daily lives, and the pursuit of individual happiness, they do not take the time to verify what they hear and are taught. They do not stop to digest and analyze and ferret out the implications of what they are told.

Third, that Spirit of ’76, the one that inspired every soul who immigrated to this country to discover their own destiny, unchained from the tyrannies of the feudal systems of Europe, was subverted and systematically dismantled through a radical change in the form of government they had laboriously created.

They had spent their fortunes and their lives to wrest back control of personal and political destiny out of the hands of the British Parliament, King George, and the European bankers. No sooner than they narrowly accomplished this objective, they were sold out by designing men, from the inside, by a conspiracy and fraud, intended to mimic the old British form of government. The first government, the Confederation of the United States of America, was the grand experiment in self-government that sent shock waves around the world. It was this mystique, this bold declaration, this grand opportunity of personal liberty that uprooted people around the planet from their native homelands to the shores of North America.

That Spirit was broken in a matter of eleven years. How?

First, war always creates debt. The United States of America was financially broke. There is no surer path to envy, strife, and disunion than the want of financial solvency. Every newlywed couple meets this dilemma head on.

Second, war makes people physically and spiritually weary. The moment a threat disappears, that hostilities cease, the participants on both sides of the conflict want to return to peaceful pursuits and regain prosperity. It is at this moment they are most vulnerable to plunder. If someone comes along and promises to relieve them of burdens they are weary of they can be easily persuaded to yield up their liberties for comfort. ("If all that Americans want is security, they can go to prison. They'll have enough to eat, a bed and a roof over their heads. But if an American wants to preserve his dignity and his equality as a human being, he must not bow his neck to any dictatorial government." –Dwight Eisenhower) Man, being of natural trust and goodwill in other men, find it easy to surrender their interest in preserving their liberty to someone else, appointed to the task of civic exigencies.

Third, war destroys property. Property is the foundation of wealth, which described differently, is the means by which Man is able to stave off starvation, exposure, disease, and early death. This is the fundamental meaning of the “pursuit of happiness.”

So what happened?

The United States of America, created under the Articles of Confederation, was unable to recompense the volunteer militia who had so valiantly sought to preserve the Union against British depredation. The United States was in debt to the French aristocracy for their assistance in throwing off the British destruction of Colonial money, homes, and property. Their only recourse to service those debts were tariffs, taxes, and printing paper money. All three failed. War destroys personal wealth. Always. The result was near instant insurrection, with the threat of its leaders to disband the Confederation and install George Washington as King.

At length, the Continental Congress deliberated over the causes of the economic situation, and commissioned delegates to address aspects of the Articles of Confederation which did not specify responsibilities in these matters unilaterally among the United States of America. These delegates were sent to Philadelphia to deliberate on how to justly apportion the various States an equitable course of remedy. Those delegates abandoned their directive and duty, and proceeded to usurp power invested in the Continental Congress to change the form of government. This is what took place in the years between the Declaration of Independence, the founding of the United States of America, and the Constitutional Convention. What happened at this convention is at the heart of all the subsequent lies taught the American public.

Not long into the study of the Federal Constitutional convention the investigator discovers the delegates appointed by the Continental Congress, commissioned to revise the Articles of Confederation, did no such thing. Instead they produced a document restructuring the Union of States into a National government, with powers over the States. This act, produced in secret, was a conspiracy, and what they did was commit fraud by conspiracy upon the Continental Congress, the States, and the citizenry. In English common law such fraudulent agreements and declarations are void and non-binding. But at the behest of George Washington in a letter to Congress, they rolled over and complied with it. In essence, this is what George told the Congress:

“Individuals entering into society, must give up a share of liberty to preserve the rest. The magnitude of the sacrifice must depend as well on situation and circumstance, as on the object to be obtained. It is at all times difficult to draw with precision the line between those rights which must be surrendered, and those which may be reserved; and on the present occasion this difficulty was encreased by a difference among the several states as to their situation, extent, habits, and particular interests.
In all our deliberations on this subject we kept steadily in our view, that which appears to us the greatest interest of every true American, the consolidation of our Union,…” Bold mine. (quoted in  Conspiracy in Philadelphia P xxv, Gary North.)

This is a most astounding and heinous lie. It is an odious and fallacious affectation. The Articles of Confederation were founded on the principle that no one must surrender a single right in order to defend and preserve their endowed Rights. The United States of America under the Articles of Confederation, though hard pressed, successfully threw off the British yoke without surrendering a single individual Right. This principle of Union was eloquently addressed by Frederic Bastiat nearly a hundred years later:

“Force has been given to us to defend our own individual rights. Who will dare to say that force has been given to us to destroy the equal rights of our brothers? Since no individual acting separately can lawfully use force to destroy the rights of others, does it not logically follow that the same principle also applies to the common force that is nothing more than the organized combination of the individual forces?
    If this is true, then nothing can be more evident than this: The law is the organization of natural right of lawful defense. It is the substitution of a common force for individual forces. And this common force is to do only what the individual forces have a natural and lawful right to do: to protect persons, liberties, and properties; Maintain the right of each, and to cause justice to reign over us all.” (The Law pp2-3)

Bastiat didn’t invent this principle, it was expressly written into the Articles of Confederation! The author of the selected draft for the Articles was Benjamin Franklin. In Franklin’s deliberations over what form of government best suited to bind the States in common cause, among the material he studied was the various governments of local Native American tribes. The form of Union was modeled after their separation of powers and function. It was a decentralized form of cooperation among common interests. This decentralized form of organization was had among several Indian tribes, such as the Apache, among modern terrorist cells, and is emulated in numerous business ventures today such as eBay, Amazon, and Toyota. It is a non feudal, non hierarchical organization where all individuals have equal voice and choose freely who they will follow. It is powered by a common vision and ideology, which forms the motive force supporting the organization.

It is Benjamin Franklin who is the Father of the United States of America, the form of government meant only to secure everyone’s safety and liberty. George Washington is the stooge who perpetrated the fraud of The Federal Republic of America, the form of government that acts by the power of coercion and positive law. This myth is propaganda and lie number two, the first being George’s mendacity with the Continental Congress. In fact, George had to pander favors among his Masonic friends (>90% of the delegates to the Constitutional Convention) in order to gain access. The condition of his presiding at the assembly was that he keep his mouth shut and remain a figurehead! (American Aurora, pp467-469, 476) It was this Masonic influence among the delegates that produced the oath of secrecy and locked doors during the deliberations that is the very definition of conspiracy.

What citizens today do not understand for deliberate obfuscation of the details in public education is, all debates, referendums, ratifications, and elections subsequent to an act of fraud are also void. It does not matter who supported it, nor how many, nor why. A fraud is not made null by its acceptance. The Federal Convention’s deliberations remain an infringement upon the Rights of Man as enumerated in the Declaration of Independence, to wit:

 “when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government,…” Italics mine

James Madison in a letter to the Virginia General Assembly of 1785 over the matter of State sponsored religions excoriated them for attempting to legislate beyond their authority:

“The preservation of a free government requires not merely, that the metes and bounds which separate each department of power may be invariably maintained; but more especially, that neither of them be suffered to overleap the great Barrier which defends the rights of the people. The Rulers who are guilty of such an encroachment, exceed the commission from which they derive their authority, and are Tyrants. The People who submit to it are governed by laws made neither by themselves, nor by an authority derived from them, and are slaves.”  Bold mine (Quoted in The Mind of the Founder P7)

But who was it that was Father of the Federal Constitution two years later, and the recorder of the proceedings? Did he not engage in the same encroachment as the Virginia Assembly did on religion? Was not Madison the very Tyrant he condemned? Did not he design (and the delegates sanction) the foundation for slavery under the Federal Republic of America?

Eighty two years later Lysander Spooner at the close of the Civil War reiterated this concept of tyrannical majority:

"The North has thus virtually said to the world: It was all very well to prate of consent, so long as the objects to be accomplished were to liberate ourselves from our connexion with England, and also to coax a scattered and jealous people into a great national union; but now that those purposes have been accomplished, and the power of the North has become consolidated, it is sufficient for us—as for all governments—simply to say: Our power is our right." Italics mine (No Treason P4)

The Continental Congress failed in their duty to reject Washington’s letter and the Federal Constitution, as did the States, who all in collusion with the pseudo-Federalists from 1787 to 1789, proceeded to ratify a change in the form of government that was hierarchical and feudalistic in its intent. The Anti-Federalists attempted to warn the citizenry against the mendacity proposed in newspaper publications, since compiled into The Federalist Papers, and the response in The Anti-Federalist Papers. But it was to no avail.

Hannah Arendt, who was one of the few women who successfully exited a WWII German concentration camp before the borders were closed, spent the rest of her life studying the rise of National Socialism and its effects upon the populace and leaders. She became well known for her publications in the Western world throughout the Cold War period. In her widely heralded book The Origin of Totalitarianism she wrote about the nature of conspiratorial societies:

“The chief value, however, of the secret or conspiratory societies' organizational structure and moral standards for purposes of mass organization does not even lie in the inherent guarantees of unconditional belonging and loyalty, and organizational manifestation of unquestioned hostility to the outside world, but in their unsurpassed capacity to establish and safeguard the fictitious world through consistent lying. The whole hierarchical structure of totalitarian movements, from naive fellow-travelers to party members, elite formations, the intimate circle around the Leader, and the Leader himself, could be described in terms of a curiously varying mixture of gullibility and cynicism with which each member, depending upon his rank and standing in the movement, is expected to react to the changing lying statements of the leaders and the central unchanging ideological fiction of the movement.” (The Origin of Totalitarianism P369)

Continuing her examination she describes the very National Socialist environment in which the post Revloutionary Federalists operated:

“Without the organizational division of the movement into elite formations, membership, and sympathizers, the lies of the Leader would not work. The graduation of cynicism expressed in a hierarchy of contempt is at least as necessary in the face of constant refutation as plain gullibility. The point is that the sympathizers in front organizations despise their fellow-citizens' complete lack of initiation, the party members despise the fellow-travelers' gullibility and lack of radicalism, the elite formations despise for similar reasons the party membership, and within the elite formations a similar hierarchy of contempt accompanies every new foundation and development. The result of this system is that the gullibility of sympathizers makes lies credible to the outside world, while at the same time the graduated cynicism of membership and elite formations eliminates the danger that the Leader will ever be forced by the weight of his own propaganda to make good his own statements and feigned respectability.” (The Origin of Totalitarianism P371)

Today we have an overwhelming abundance of Hannah’s descriptions in the District of Columbia, just in the last two Presidential administrations alone. The CFR and the Trilateral Commission are some of the obvious "elite formations" which exude this contempt of the People. The tragedy of it is this feudalism extends all the way back to the very beginning, under the direction of George Washington, and before him the Constitutional Convention. The root of its ideology is the antithesis of self-preservation—the fallacious argument that a group of people have the right to enforce their will upon an individual or minority, simply because they out-number them. Or, that a minority of sufficient size and power, have the right to enforce their will upon the majority. This fallacious doctrine, concocted by men lusting for influence, eminence, and power was expressed again by Madison:

“According to Republican Theory, Right and power being both vested in the majority, are held to be synonimous. According to fact and experience a minority may in an appeal to force, be an over-match for the majority. 1. if the minority happen to include all such as possess the skill and habits of military life, & such as possess the great pecuniary resources, one-third only may conquer the remaining two-thirds. 2. one-third of those who participate in the choice of the rulers, may be rendered a majority by the accession of those whose poverty excludes them from a right of suffrage, and who for obvious reasons will be more likely to join the standard of sedition than that of the established Government. 3. where slavery exists the republican Theory becomes still more fallacious.” Bold mine. (Quoted in The Mind of the Founder P59)

What does have bearing here is the concept of government altogether—the very idea that people everywhere must be regulated in their activities beyond the simple expedient of preserving their mutual safety of persons, property, and privilege. The control of persons, property, and expression by coercion is a tyranny, and is the express cause of the failure of all governments in the history of Man, prior to the founding of the United States of America. But Madison argued before the Assembly that Republican power and right are the same—that might makes right, that those possessing martial skill sufficient to subdue, or financial acumen to effect the same, have right of coercion; that those who have not financial acumen or military skill have no voice at all, that such theory was a Tyranny, and then reversed his position by creating a government that did just that. These men all gave lip service to the hazards of encroachment, despotism, and ultimate revolution should the People rise up in indignation, but sloppily created a document whereby it was possible for ambitious men to obtain their desires. Contrary to Jefferson’s assertion that the Constitution was a “chain” with which to bind such men down, it was a bloodied red carpet by which none but a vigilant and jealous citizenry could remove. There are so many loopholes and vaguely written constraints in it that collectivism has been driven through as a freight train.

During the reign of the Alien and Sedition Acts, Jefferson was appalled at the seeming about face of John Adams, as others like Alexander Hamilton and George Washington. Jefferson was socially and politically naïve to have sat through the convention from France, discussing the various issues with James and other delegates, and not have realized that these men never changed their position, but had concealed their intent for converting the Union to a Democratic Republic, and distending it through positive interpretations to their own ambition. Franklin, however, readily recognized what Adams was after, and forestalled his exposure to monarchical operations during their ambassadorship to France. Their ambitions were exposed in The Philadelphia Aurora, initially owned and operated by Franklin’s grandson, Benjamin Bache. Bache died in prison from neglect of malaria, at the hands of John Adams and his Sedition Act. Adams had despised Franklin for many years, and carried on a vendetta because of Franklin’s interposition, preventing Adams from obtaining his ambition to convert the Constitutional Republic into a Constitutional Monarchy. It was Bache, exposing the malfeasance of Washington and Adams, that ultimately drove both from the Presidency. Both men had always supported hereditary claim to the Presidency of the Federal Republic of America. The ultimate intent of these men was to return the American government to the British form, with they themselves as the new aristocracy.

What many citizens do not know about Washington’s term in office is he refused to remunerate the French for their War assistance, as per agreements made by ambassador Franklin. (American Aurora pp34,408) Since those French funds spent on military hardware were made by way of loans from the Rothchild’s banking system and backed up by the property of the aristocracy, this action bankrupted the French government. Public education tells us Louis the XVI lost his head to the French Revolution. But this is misleading. He was guillotined because helping the American’s achieve independence bankrupted the country. (American Aurora pp509, 516) The economy collapsed and the people of France, having idolized the new system of American government expounded by ambassador Franklin, rioted against the aristocracy, precipitating the bloodiest (40,000 executed) of European Revolutions to that time. The backlash of Washington’s default began with a fiction of war with the French, and the Jacobin movement that spread to America.

Thomas Paine, returned to America in 1802, having spent eleven months in jail at the behest of Governor Morris, minister to France, wrote open letters to the American people. Paine as Bache, also took them to task, albeit after the fact:

“…a faction, acting in disguise, was rising in America; they had lost sight of first principles. They were beginning to contemplate government as a profitable monopoly, and the people as hereditary property. It is, therefore, no wonder that the Rights of Man was attacked by that faction, and its author continually abused. But let them go on; give them rope enough and they will put an end to their own insignificance. There is too much common sense and independence in America to be long the dupe of any faction, foreign or domestic.
But, in the midst of the freedom we enjoy, the licentiousness of the papers called Federal (and I know not why they are called so, for they are in their principles anti-federal and despotic), is a dishonour to the character of the country, and an injury to its reputation and importance abroad. They represent the whole people of America as destitute of public principle and private manners.” (The Thomas Paine Reader P504)

Unfortunately for us, the common sense permeating Colonial America has since dissipated. Our reputation has been disintegrating since the Convention of 1787. In the wake of the disastrous administrations of Washington, Adams, and a lesser degree Madison, The Federal Republic of America lost all its allies in Europe. When James Monroe took office, he had the odious task of rebuilding those relations. His first effort to that end was to institute a policy of non-intervention, which has been slandered as the policy of isolationism by the Government Mandated Opiate consortium. These malcontents are the mechanics who operate the world's Matrix machine.

In 1805 Paine published an open letter to the American citizenry outlining the Federal Constitution’s errors. I present here only portions more relevant:

“The Constitution formed by the Convention of 1776, of which Benjamin Franklin (the greatest and most useful man America has yet produced), was president, had many good points in it which were overthrown by the Convention of 1790, under the pretence of making the Constitution conformable to that of the United States; as if the forms and periods of election for a territory extensive as that of the United States is could become a rule for a single state.
The principal defect in the Constitution of 1776 was that it was subject, in practice, to too much precipitancy; but the groundwork of that Constitution was good. The present Constitution appears to me to be clogged with inconsistencies of a hazardous tendency, as a supposed remedy against a precipitancy that might not happen. Investing any individual, by whatever name or official title he may be called, with a negative over the formation of the laws, is copied from the English Government, without ever perceiving the inconsistency and absurdity of it, when applied to the representative system, or understanding the origin of it in England.” (The Thomas Paine Reader P526)
“This negativing power in the hands of an individual ought to be constitutionally abolished. It is a dangerous power. There is no prescribing rules for the use of it. It is discretionary and arbitrary; and the will and temper of the person at any time possessing it, is its only rule.” (The Thomas Paine Reader P527)
“We are not a conquered people; we know no conqueror; and the negativing power used by kings in England is for the defence of the personal and family prerogatives of the successors of the conqueror against the Parliament and the people. What is all this to us? We know no prerogatives but what belong to the sovereignty of ourselves.
At the time this Constitution was formed, there was a great departure from the principles of the Revolution, among those who then assumed the lead, and the country was grossly imposed upon. This accounts for some inconsistencies that are to be found in the present Constitution, among which is the negativing power inconsistently copied from England.” (The Thomas Paine Reader P528)

“Patronage has a natural tendency to increase the public expense by the temptation it leads to (unless in the hands of a wise man like Franklin) to multiply offices within the gift or appointment of that patronage. John Adams, in his Administration, went upon the plan of increasing offices and officers. He expected by thus increasing his patronage, and making numerous appointments, that he should attach a numerous train of adherents to him who would support his measures and his future election. He copied this from the corrupt system of England; and he closed his midnight labours by appointing sixteen new unnecessary judges, at an expense to the public of $32,000 annually. John counted only on one side of the case.” (The Thomas Paine Reader P530)

“The complaint respecting the Senate is the length of its duration, being four years. The sage Franklin has said, 'Where annual election ends, tyranny begins'; … When a man ceases to be accountable to those who elected him, and with whose public affairs he is entrusted, he ceases to be their representative, and is put in a condition of being their despot. He becomes the representative of nobody but himself.” (The Thomas Paine Reader P531)

“The Senate is an imitation of what is called the House of Lords in England, and which Chesterfield, who was a member of it, and therefore knew it, calls 'the Hospital of Incurables'. The Senate in Pennsylvania is not quite a hospital of incurables, but it took almost four years to bring it to a state of  convalescence….William (the Conqueror), having made the conquest, dispossessed the owners of their lands, and divided those lands among the chiefs of the plundering army he brought with him, and from hence arose what is called the House of Lords.” (The Thomas Paine Reader P532)

“This is consistent with the original establishment of the House of Lords, for it was originally composed of robbers. This is aristocracy. This is one of the pillars of John Adams's 'stupendous fabric of human invention'. A privilege for house-breaking, highwayrobbing, horse-stealing and robbing of churches! John Adams knew but little of the origin and practice of the Government of England.”(The Thomas Paine Reader p533)

“The Constitution of 1776 was conformable to the Declaration of Independence and the Declaration of Rights, which the present Constitution is not; for it makes artificial distinctions among men in the right of suffrage, which the principles of equity know nothing of; neither is it consistent with sound policy.” (The Thomas Paine Reader P534)

Those who declaim the contemporary departure from Constitutional government are ignorant of the Revolutionary history, the motives and actions of the Founders who produced the “worthless scrap of paper” Hamilton so disparaged. They do not realize that what they admire and esteem for being lost is the Union of States, the very form of government the South sought to maintain by the Civil War (which also was a prediction of the Anti-Federalist patriots) under the banner of the Confederate flag. This Federal Republic they created is still laboring under the ignominy and dishonor begun at the close of the Revolutionary War when the despotic government formed at the Constitutional Convention of 1787 changed forever the face of Liberty.

I commend to the reader’s review selections from the Anti-Federalist papers and their response to the Constitution’s adoption:

“But in a government consisting of but a few members, elected for long periods, and far removed from the observation of the people, but few changes in the ordinary course of elections take place among the members. They become in some measure a fixed body, and often inattentive to the public good, callous, selfish, and the fountain of corruption. To prevent these evils, and to force a principle of pure animation into the federal government, which will be formed much in this last manner mentioned, and to produce attention, activity, and a diffusion of knowledge in the community, we ought to establish among others the principle of rotation. Even good men in office, in time, imperceptibly lose sight of the people, and  gradually fall into measures prejudicial to them.” #63

“To the authority of Montesquieu, I shall add that of Mr. De Lolme, whose disquisition on government is allowed to be deep, solid, and ingenious . . . . 'It is not only necessary,' [says he] 'to take from the legislature the executive power which would exempt them from the laws; but they should not have even a hope of being ever able to arrogate to themselves that power.' To remove this hope from their expectation, it would have been proper, not only to have previously laid down, in a declaration of rights, that these powers should be forever separate and incommunicable; but the frame of the proposed constitution should have had that separation religiously in view, through all its parts. It is manifest this was not the object of its framers; but, that on the contrary there is a studied mixture of them in the senate as necessary to erect it into that potent aristocracy which it must infallibly produce.

In pursuit of this daring object, than which no greater calamity can be brought upon the people, another egregious error in constitutional principles is committed. I mean that of dividing the executive powers between the senate and president.” #64

“I revere the characters of some of the gentlemen that composed the convention at Philadelphia, yet I think they were human, and subject to imposition and error, as well as the rest of mankind. You lost eight or ten years of your lives and labor by the last war, and you were left at last with your debts and encumbrances on you, and numbers of you were soon after the close of it, sued and harassed for them. Your persons have been put into a loathsome prison, and others of you have had your property sold for taxes, and sometimes for one tenth of its former and actual value and you now pay very grievous and heavy taxes, double and treble what you paid before the war; and should you adopt this new government, your taxes will be great, increased to support their.., servants and retainers, who will be multiplied upon you to keep you in obedience, and collect their duties, taxes, impositions, and excises. Some of you may say the rich men were virtuous in the last war; yes, my countrymen, they had reason then to be so! Our liberty then was in dispute with a mighty and powerful tyrant, and it was for their interest to promote and carry on the opposition, as long as they could stay at home and send the common people into the field to fight their battles. After the war began, they could not with decency recede, for the sword and enemy were at the very entrance of their gates. The case is greatly altered now; you conquered the enemy, and the rich men now think to subdue you by their wiles and arts, or make you, or persuade you, to do it yourselves. Their aim, I perceive, is now to destroy that liberty which you set up as a reward for the blood and treasure you expended in the pursuit of and establishment of it. They well know that open force will not succeed at this time, and have chosen a safer method, by offering you a plan of a new Federal Government, contrived with great art, and shaded with obscurity, and recommended to you to adopt; which if you do, their scheme is completed, the yoke is fixed on your necks, and you will be undone, perhaps for ever, and your boasted liberty is but a sound, Farewell! Be wise, be watchful, guard yourselves against the dangers that are concealed in this plan of a new Federal Government.”#40
 The face of American politics that appears in the newspapers, journals, and archives of the post revolutionary period is identical to Washington politics of our time. It has never changed. The only change to this scene of blood, terror, and ruin will happen when the citizens of this country come together in common cause, as our forefathers did in 1775, and abolish the system of government in Washington and the models of constitutions, to voluntarily support the Union they devoted themselves to establish with the Revolution. Spooner in his disquisition was correct:
 “…all governments though the best on earth in other respects—are nevertheless tyrannies to that portion of the people—whether few or many—who are compelled to support them against their will.” (No Treason P17)

“…there is not the slightest probability that there is a single man in the country, who both understands what the Constitution really is, and sincerely supports it for what it really is. The ostensible supporters of the Constitution, like the ostensible supporters of most other governments, are made up of three classes, viz.:

1. Knaves, a numerous and active class, who see in the government an instrument which they can use for their own aggrandizement or wealth.

2. Dupes—a large class, no doubt—each of whom, because he is allowed one voice out of millions in deciding what he may do with his own person and his own property, and because he is permitted to have the same voice in robbing, enslaving, and murdering others, that others have in robbing, enslaving, and murdering himself, is stupid enough to imagine that he is a 'free man,' a 'sovereign'; that this is 'a free government'; 'a government of equal rights,' 'the best government on earth,' and such like absurdities.

3. A class who have some appreciation of the evils of government, but either do not see how to get rid of them, or do not choose to so far sacrifice their private interests as to give themselves seriously and earnestly to the work of making a change.” (No Treason P26)

It will never happen by working within the system now entrenched.

"You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."—Buckminster Fuller
If by now you do not perceive the magnitude of our enmeshment in this Matrix called the Federal Republic of America, there is little hope past despotic slavery.

The End of National Independence

“The congress having thus disentangled themselves from all popular checks and choices, and being supported by a well disciplined army and active militia, will certainly command dread and respect abroad, obedience and submission at home. They will then look down with awful dignity and tremendous majesty from the pinnacle of glory to which fortune has raised them upon the insignificant creatures, their subjects, whom they have reduced to that state of vassalage and servile submission, for which they were primarily destined by nature. America will then be great amongst the nations(3) and princess amongst the provinces. Her fleets will cover the deserts of the ocean and convert it into a popular city; and her invincible armies overturn the thrones of princes. The glory of Britain (4) shall fall like lightning before her puissant arm; when she ariseth to shake the nations, and take vengeance on all who dare oppose her. O! thou most venerable and august congress! with what astonishing ideas my mind is ravished! when I contemplate thy rising grandeur, and anticipate thy future glory! Happy thy servants! happy thy vassals! and happy thy slaves, which fit under the shade of thy omnipotent authority, and behold the glory of thy majesty! for such a state who would not part with ideal blessings of liberty? who would not cheerfully resign the nominal advantages of freedom? the dazzling splendor of Assyrian, Persian, Macedonian and Roman greatness will then be totally eclipsed by the radiant blaze of this glorious western luminary! These beautiful expressions, aristocracy, and oligarchy, upon which the popular odium hath fixed derision and contempt, will then resume their natural emphasis; their genuine signification will be perfectly understood, and no more perverted or abused.” ( ARISTOCROTIS Anti-Federalist #51)

Our nation is finished. We are waiting in the lull for the coup-de-grâce of national Hara-Kiri. The lull is the interim between presidential elections. No matter which candidate takes the White House in 2017, the inevitable demise is assured. History has spoken the edict, but there have been few, if any, who have heard the inquest and judgment.

Gore Vidal, who continuously poked Americans in the eye, especially the Elitists, once stated that the brightest men ever to appear in America were the men who founded the Federal government, and they have not been seen since. I beg to differ. These men of designing mien established a tradition that has rooted and flowered like Ragweed. They exist in every nook and cranny of the monolithic edifice, for from the moment the ink of the Federal Constitution was still drying (that marvel of a piece of double talk which mirrored oligarchic aristocracy), those crooks and nannies were busy going about mimicking the very aristocracy of their ideological sires. Gore asserted way back during the Vietnam era that we had become a National Security State, and indeed it is now bearing down on the largest nations on the planet that have evaded its hegemony. This summer, the nation in a state of heroin induced stupor, beheld the Chinese and American naval fleets tagging each other in the Pacific.  The Security State has followed the path to empire the likes of which the British envy, and they are determined to regain the helm and their lost status at any cost.

The greatest loophole built into that faux chastity belt document was the construction of the Senate. To them was given the key to the belt, the bag of gold, the military, the rights of perpetuity, the duty of impeachments, and a politician’s admonition to virtue. It was to them we were told, after their illegal convention, that we should rely on a just and proper government, one which would balance the rights of the majority against those of the minority, while preserving the sanctity of the individual against autocratic abuse. A formidable task indeed for a fledgling nation attempting to transcend the Republics of bygone eras. As we shall see, they were stumbling right out of the starting gate.

The American Senate is charged first with the duty of ensuring that the Constitution (with its Amendments, commonly referred to as the Bill of Rights) is adhered to in all legislative and executive matters. This is its primary purpose and function. (Federalist Papers 62 & 63) The Representatives were intended to restore the Constitutional governance to its primal state should the Senate corrupt it. Contrary to Madison’s beliefs and polemics, this has proved to be a scarecrow. The fatal flaw, well known and publicized among the Revolutionary States, was that the Senate was endowed with both the legislative and executive powers. Without the legislative, they could not restrain the popular rabble influencing the people’s Representatives. Without the executive, they could not over rule the President, nor declare the principles of Jurisprudence to the Judiciary. Conversely, they could bequeath to the President legislative and extend executive powers which are not expressly designated in the Constitution, and undermine the immunity of the Judiciary from partisan or ideological influence. Not but least, they could extend to themselves by fiat, the right to pseudo-hereditary election and emoluments. The very worst fatality Madison never covered was the patronage of “designing men.” Why would they cut their own throats on this momentous occasion? Everyone else was “designing”, only they were not! But with the very first administration of the reconstituted office of president (John Hanson was the first president of the United States in 1781 with the adoption of the Articles of Confederation), Washington changed all that. He took in his Free Mason buddy Alexander Hamilton as Secretary of the Treasury, a shill of the British Rothschild bank. (Hamilton’s Curse)

Politics may change its structure, but the consummation of malfeasance seldom does. In ancient Rome, the Senate soon became infested with oligarchic families (the Greeks founded their democracy by way of oligarchic families), a by-product of class struggle. Here again, astute Colonials recognized the deliberate exacerbation of class-struggle by the Constitution. (Anti-Federalist #37) The byproduct is the production of political parties—the debacle millionaire George Washington impotently and ignorantly warned against in his Farewell Address.  In American politics, our senators are often drawn from the more affluent and educated. But the result is always the same—corruption throughout and the fated dissolution of the government and the social institutions supporting it. If they aren’t of the affluent aristocratic class at appointment, they soon are once taking office. The vested interests of business see to that (~12,000 lobbyists in 2014). What Americans have failed to notice in their history lessons is that the national and state governments were composed by and for those who owned businesses and property. Accordingly, they were the only ones privileged to vote. Few, if any Congressmen have escaped the vice of financial favors. “Our form of democracy is bribery on the highest scale” wrote Gore Vidal, and it has been the modus operandi since the colonial charters. The Colonial Brutus wrote disparagingly:

“Men long in office are very apt to feel themselves independent; to form and pursue interests separate from those who appointed them. And this is more likely to be the case with the senate, as they will for the most part of the time be absent from the state they represent, and associate with such company as will possess very little of the feelings of the middling class of people. .… It is probable that senators once chosen for a state will, as the system now stands, continue in office for life. The office will be honorable if not lucrative. The persons who occupy it will probably wish to continue in it, and therefore use all their influence and that of their friends to continue in office. Their friends will be numerous and powerful, for they will have it in their power to confer great favors, besides it will before long be considered as disgraceful not to be reelected. It will therefore be considered as a matter of delicacy to the character of the senator not to return him again. Everybody acquainted with public affairs knows how difficult it is to remove from office a person who is long been in it. It is seldom done except in cases of gross misconduct.  (Anti-Federalist #62)

Malfeasance
By dereliction of duty to the laws and regulations of the Constitution, falsely touting the protection of the Individual, the Senate opens the gates to corruption of all branches of the Federal government;
  • the consolidation of legislative, judicial, and executive powers;
  • the subjection of the Federal system to insolvency and monetary bondage in perpetuity;
  • the pandering and surreptitious tribute of moneyed interests;
  • the political influence of potentates;
  • the migration from Republicanism to Federalism to Monarchy or Dictatorship;
  • the provocation of civil insurrection;
  • the perpetuation and enlargement of standing armies and war (once limited to 6 years);
  • bias and influence of the supreme Judiciary;
  • the suspension of Habeas Corpus;
  • suspension of trial by jury and right to confront accusers;
  • incarceration without due process;
  • the confiscation of property and violation of persons;
  • military tribunals imposed on civilians;
  • all manner of Federal imposition and harassment under the guise of public health or welfare;
  • domestic and foreign intervention provoking minorities to insurrection by Federal Intelligence services;
  • the instigation of clandestine pacts, agreements, or treaties by the executive;
  • the debauching and ideological subversion of public education;
  • the regulation of social contracts of convention;
  • the codification and regulation of speech;
  • Presidential intelligence oversight negligence, ad nauseum infinitum.
By degrees they have granted dictatorial powers to the President of this pseudo-Republic, and committed the same fatality which the German congress did with Adolf—they gave him sufficient power to have themselves dissolved—permanently. Dissidents forfeited their lives.

Prescient citizens of our then burgeoning Confederacy foresaw the weaknesses of the proffered Constitution with its inevitable production of a tyrant:

“…perhaps some weak heads may think that the constitution itself will be a check upon the new congress. But this I deny, for the convention has so happily worded themselves, that every part of this constitution either bears double meaning, or no meaning at all; and if any concessions are made to the people in one place, it is effectually cancelled in another—so that in fact this constitution is much better and gives more scope to the rulers than they durst safely take if there was no constitution at all. For then the people might contend that the power was inherent in them, and that they had made some implied reserves in the original grant. But now they cannot, for every thing is expressly given away to government in this plan. Perhaps some people may think that power which the house of representatives possesses, of impeaching the officers of government, will be a restraint upon them. But this entirely vanishes, when it is considered that the Senate hath the principal say in appointing these officers, and that they are the sole judges of all impeachments. Now it would be absurd to suppose that they would remove their own servants for performing their secret orders  ....  For the interest of rulers and the ruled will then be two distinct things.” ( ARISTOCROTIS Anti-Federalist #51)

Though there were weak-headed, profligate, and unscrupulous citizens seduced by its tenets, strong and sane minded citizens warned of the folly of an unrestrained Senate (as well as the Representatives) and its consequences. Unfortunately, the voice of the former is always more dominant in society than the latter. The Founding Fathers blatantly discussed this characteristic of former political constructions in the press, private communications and assemblies. But the common citizen paid as little attention then as they do today. We are so busy serving the exigencies of penury, we pay little attention to who is controlling its value and the production of market rules. We know it because shortly after Franklin shot off his mouth to his British colleagues that their prosperity and lack of poor was due to their issuance of their own paper specie, the British parliament passed legislation to revoke colonial specie and force them to trade in British coin. Within months the colonies went from a debt-free society to wide-spread losses and subsequent poverty. Franklin’s visit to England for financing included a visit with the London financiers. Finding no success there he journeyed to France, where he brokered a deal by way of his Masonry connections with Jacob Rothschild’s bank. The ultimate aim of the bankers then, as it was with the precipitation of the Civil War, and every war since, was the financial overthrow and subjection of the United States. They have always played both sides in the conflicts they generate for this purpose. (The Federal Reserve Cartel)

Follow the Money

“Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation and I care not who makes the laws.”(Mayer Anselm Rothschild) With the Senate so constituted to have sole political control of both debits and credits of the national purse, they have no care for how the laws protect the rights of the Individual. Laws will follow where the money flows, and by Constitutional design, the money flowed then at is does today, from the American aristocratic businessman to the Senator. The notion that a Bill of Rights would confine Congress, and the Senate in particular, to preservation and protection of individual Liberty among the States was a bone thrown to the Thomas Jefferson crowd. He erroneously believed that the Constitution, with its appended Rights bill, would bind the burgeoning class of business aristocrats to the object of freedom from despotism and financial ruin. ("In questions of power...let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution." —Thomas Jefferson: Kentucky Resolutions, 1798.) But the Federal Constitution was never written to preserve Liberty for all. It was written to facilitate obtaining control for themselves their own money system apart from king George:

“We began planning the Revolutionary War in order to issue our own money again…. The inability of the Colonists to get power to issue their own money permanently out of the hands of George III and the international bankers was the prime reason for the revolutionary war.” (Benjamin Franklin)

And yet, Franklin went to none other to purchase weapons through Baron von Steuben who was connected with the Rothschilds. (The ambassadorial feud and nervous break down that non-Mason John Adams had with Franklin was centered in Franklin’s Masonic network. He later wrote the Letters on the Masonic Institution exposing the Free Mason influence.)

There were a number of colonists who were savvy to the monetary motivation behind the convention and opposed it:

“Our governments have been new and unsettled; and several legislatures, by making tender, suspension, and paper money laws, have given just cause of uneasiness to creditors. By these and other causes, several orders of men in the community have been prepared, by degrees, for a change of government. And this very abuse of power in the legislatures, which in some cases has been charged upon the democratic part of the community, has furnished aristocratical men with those very weapons, and those very means, with which, in great measure, they are rapidly effecting their favorite object. And should an oppressive government be the consequence of the proposed change, posterity may reproach not only a few overbearing unprincipled men, but those parties in the states which have misused their powers.

The conduct of several legislatures, touching paper money, and tender laws, has prepared many honest men for changes in government, which otherwise they would not have thought of—when by the evils, on the one hand, and by the secret instigations of artful men, on the other, the minds of men were become sufficiently uneasy, a bold step was taken, which is usually followed by a revolution, or a civil war. A general convention for mere commercial purposes was moved for—the authors of this measure saw that the people's attention was turned solely to the amendment of the federal system; and that, had the idea of a total change been started, probably no state would have appointed members to the convention. The idea of destroying ultimately, the state government, and forming one consolidated system, could not have been admitted—a convention, therefore, merely for vesting in congress power to regulate trade was proposed.” (Anti-federalist # 37)

As soon as the British military was no immediate threat, the Constitutional convention was planned by a few delegates at Annapolis to cement their revolutionary enterprise. It is often thought that what Franklin meant when he admonished the convention delegates “if we do not hang together, we shall surely hang separately” was not about regaining their native rights from the British, but about them hanging for insolvency. They had pledged their fortunes to pull off the Revolution, and some means had to be instituted for them to recoup their loses. Without the power to create their own money again they were vulnerable to re-subjugation). Voilá! The new Federal government is born with the power to tax, tariff, and regulate commerce for their own ends, irrespective of the powers of any and all States. (Anti-Federalist #40) Unlike the American pseudo-aristocrats who pledged their fortunes in the Declaration of Independence, the French who came to their rescue and kicked the British asses for sport, spent their fortunes, on Franklin’s promise we Americans would repay their expended wealth on their behalf. This was not done, for just as we reneg on virtually every international agreement we autograph, Washington refused to repay their debt to them, setting the stage for bankruptcy of the French aristocracy and their ensuing bloody revolution. A revolution in which the Rothschilds were intimately participating. A bloody demise that later happened in France’s aristocracy was what Franklin was warning the delegates about. Today, from decades of profligate spending by Congress, unrestrained by the Senate, the citizenry is on the verge of financial destitution. When it happens, we know who’s blood will be sought—demonstrations to that effect have already manifested to that end. Our political leaders have been militarizing the police forces, augmenting the weapons manufacturing, against that calamity.

“It must be recollected, that when this plan was first announced to the public, its supporters cried it up as the most perfect production of human wisdom. It was represented either as having no defects, or if it had, they were so trifling and inconsiderable, that they served only, as the shades in a fine picture, to set off the piece to the greater advantage. One gentleman in Philadelphia went so far in the ardor of his enthusiasm in its favor, as to pronounce, that the men who formed it were as really under the guidance of Divine Revelation, as was Moses, the Jewish lawgiver. Their language is now changed; the question has been discussed; the objections to the plan ably stated, and they are admitted to be unanswerable.” (Anti-Federalist Papers #85)

Foundations and Empires

In a Tom Woods interview early this year, a declaration by a Libertarian British subject, Sean Gabb, claimed that the British were the means of elevating the economy, culture, and welfare of those nations they “conquered”, thereby enlarging their Empire. Their military forays into Africa and India supposedly elevated those native peoples to more modern standards of living. The logic is faulty, the philanthropy false, the history propaganda, and the abstraction self-flattering; for no people are enticed to embrace the English system (or any other) of self-government except through dominance, racial oppression, or subjugation. And they are surely not persuaded through socio-economic collapse. It is an oxymoron, a paradox, an expression of cognitive dissonance, born of an arrogant and depraved, humiliated mind. (When the British invaded, India was producing one fourth of the world’s total products, as were the Chinese. When they left, in excess of 30 million Indians had died from plagues and famine induced by British mismanagement, with native life expectancy having dropped by 20%. The Kikuyu in Africa experienced similar depredations.)

Self-government derives from the self, as does culture, prosperity, and felicity. These attributes of a happy life are not bequeathed by the edicts of an administrator or a regime. The ultimate end of Empires throughout history has been the implosion from within by the very corruption that spawned it. The result has been the subsumption of the old regime by another virulent, burgeoning empire. Rome took the Anglo-Saxons, then the Normans, the Gauls. The Visigoths took Rome, the Spanish took central and South America, the Brits took India and Africa, the Americans deposed and aligned the Brits, and have been destabilizing, invading, and subsuming every vulnerable nation on the planet since the Creature from Jekyl Island was born. Soon America will be subsumed by the Sino-Socialist empire. They will want their money back we borrowed from them to finance our militaristic depredations. When they are unable to derive compensation, and we are unable to intimidate them any further, war is the inevitable result.

Chalmers Johnson observed in his book, Nemesis, that the submitted budget by President Bush soon after the invasion of Iraq, equaled the nation’s GDP that year. This is equivalent to the products produced by every working citizen going directly to the military and Congress. Nobody made a profit for themselves that year. That was over a decade ago. The cost of a single cruise missile then was $750,000, which is consistent with the annual budget for a city of 10,000 inhabitants. Thousands of those exorbitant bombs have been exploded upon a predominantly innocent populace. The cost to us by comparison is the total cessation of a small city’s operating expenses; fire, police, public works, etc. for thousands of cities across America. For a short period in the mid 80s I was employed in the telemetry testing of the cruise missile. The drone was a mere fourteen feet long, and could have been built for less than $3,000 in mass quantities by the commercial sector. The waste and stupidity of the entire operation caused me to give up the job and return to commercial business, and I’ve refused to be employed by the nonsensical military machine since.

Wars are not fought over scarce resources.  They're fought to consolidate power.  One or more nations/States/political authorities seek to impose their will upon another, first politically, then economically, then militarily.  This has ever been the case back into mythological history. (Anatomy of Doom, Encounter with the Future)  The consolidation of power has never brought peace, but extended warfare and the ultimate destruction of nations, empires, and civilization. Consolidation of power is fueled by consolidation of money control.  Consolidation of power is a cancer of the human species, born of an individual’s refusal to tend to their own responsibilities and destiny and leave that of their neighbor’s to themselves. This fact is at the heart of every empire to ever exist on this planet. We provoked Germany and Japan into declaring war because of our market-driven sanctions. We are again provoking nations world-wide, and err long will find ourselves paying the ultimate price. Our military medical system is already overwhelmed by the volume of military veterans. Many of them come home with no place to go after discharge, but to beg on the streets, and either ignored or disparaged and scorned by an ignorant, uncaring public.

“Democratic” Imperialism is a disease of the Anglo-Saxon. It is the legacy of ancient Rome, as it is the form of government bequeathed to the Anglos when the Romans retreated from England in its final Empire death-throws. Its legacy has been passed down to empires since before the Flood. It is cousin to the Aryan racial sentiments promoted by National Socialism (Hitler admired the British for their Darwinian subjugation of the Indians). Their descendants have brought to the world not only the craftiness of political intrigue, subterfuge, and the foundation of collectivism (Fabian society and ilk), but the intergenerational burden of perpetual debt, under the guise of the Red shield monetary debt system.

It was commonly known among the English colonial inhabitants of the Revolutionary period that “…no nation pays less regard to the faith of treaties than the British.” (Newport Man, Anti-Federalist Papers #20) Belligerence and Betrayal are the outstanding features of Anglo-Saxon politics. Americans have inherited, perpetuated, and sharpened these two instruments of destruction to a fine degree since king George III. No sooner have the Washington cadre boxed in the economic and political affairs of a foreign nation, they promptly violate the treaty terms of their newly acquired vassal. They impose their way of life with racial insolence and therewith dismantle the cultural and economic stability of whatever nation they intervene in. Presently Obama is forging an IT treaty with China which the government has no intention on abiding. We are committing greater internet espionage on China than they. Numerous IT businesses are opposed to this treaty and are being ignored by the administration.

Constitutionalists, in particular the Libertarians, complain a lot about how that document has been misinterpreted or corrupted. What they don’t understand (as I did not until I learned my history lessons) is that document was written expressly to facilitate how it is being “violated.” It was conceived by elitist businessmen who had their hands in politics precisely for the purpose of allowing them to control the course of government, markets, and the value of money. The Federalist government was intended to consolidate all civil power in a single body. The construction of opposing, self-interested powers, with a defrocked president, as well as the Bill of Rights, was a bone these men threw to the anti-Federalists in order to get the basic transformation of the Confederation instituted. It was consummated upon a usurpation of power from the get-go, composed in secret, by and for business interests who wanted to gain control of their own money, away from the hands of the British monarch and banks. The easiest way to do that was to implement the same form of government as their ideological progenitors, with businessmen forming the new aristocratic class. The only route to preventing the wide-scale corruption it has spawned is an amended form of the early Confederate government on a small scale. The anti-Federalists knew this and tried to inform the public, citing the Swiss Republics. But the public then, as they are today, were grossly uninformed and don’t care. People generally want to go about their own business and not concern themselves with functions of government (except those who, like the Federalists, cannot refrain from imposing on their neighbors, even if it so be by the threat of bodily harm or imprisonment).

But Republics cannot and have never operated in this manner. Solon understood this and attempted to instruct Greece’s quarreling patricians in the arts of impartiality. Students of Greek history know how they lost their Republic and today are bankrupt. Students today knowledgeable in world financial and economic affairs are familiar with the collapse of Third World countries through the operations of American business interests and the IMF. This is how the game is played. We’ve been set up, and the next great fall will be us. Cecil Rhodes’ (South African politician and mining magnate) last will and testament aspired, “to establish a trust, to and for the establishment and promotion and development of a secret society, the true aim and object whereof shall be the extension of British rule throughout the world…and the ultimate recovery of the United States of America as an integral part of the British Empire.” ( Dope Inc: The Book that Drove Kissinger Crazy. The Editors of Executive Intelligence Review. Washington, DC. 1992.)

The concept of separation of powers has failed. The Senate of the United States of America has failed to carry out its mission. With no one but the populace to police their virtue, they have been bribed, blackmailed, suborned, and duped into destroying the very fabric of the Constitution, the hard-won Bill of Rights, and the institution of financial slavery of the citizenry. Wrote Gore Vidal:

“Our form of democracy is bribery on the highest scale.” (The United States of Amnesia) Come January 2017 we will see the notes of our profligacy come due.

Return to the Classics

What we say:

I pledge allegiance to the flag, of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands; One Nation under God, with liberty and justice for all,

What we do:

I submit fealty to the Stag, of the Federated States of America, and to the fascist Autocracy for which it’s destined, a world Dominion beyond restraint, with retribution, terror, and death upon all.

A century ago the world was plunged into a terrible human conflagration, threatening to destroy the underpinnings of human solidarity, by governments and businesses seeking enlargement of their dominions without restraint. It culminated in unheard of homicide, poverty, the scapegoating of a feudalistic culture, propagation of disillusionment and superfluity, diminishing moral judgment and devotion to justice. A quarter century later the world was enveloped again in greater conflict, fueled by piety, patriotism, paternalism, and obsession with the consolidation of power. It culminated in the birth of annihilative technology, imminent death of moral judgment and devotion to justice, festering suspicion, mistrust, and trepidation across mankind. A half century later the world is consumed with terror, vengeance, sanctimony, fascist greed, and colossal vanity. Our governing institutions are saturated with petty power mongers, profligate spendthrifts of wealth and virtue. Our national leader is an elected tyrant. Our moral institutions are suffused with Zionistic zeal and millennial salvation, invoking God as their vanquisher of the heathen for justification of their atrocities. Spiritual impotence and the disappearance of natural affection defines the soul in the chapel, mosque, temple, and synagogue.

Hannah Arendt, Jewish refugee and expatriate studied this human malignancy at the birth of the Cold War. She characterized in her essays the forces behind Totalitarianism, tracing them to their root, only to find Man is engaged in the gratification of personal confidence and purpose with substitutes. This feeling of impotence and superfluity is the fuel of domination in all its manifestations. It reaches its apex in the Totalitarian engine bent on the demolition of the autonomous, juridical, and morally sagacious soul. Once this state of diffuse identity and moral boundlessness is achieved by the oppression begun with mass movements, terror is instigated against the unresisting, indifferent, and innocent. The sole objective is the Mein Kampf declaration of being Right, through the elimination of all opposition to its supremacy.

“The aggressiveness of totalitarianism springs not from lust for power, and if it feverishly seeks to expand, it does so neither for expansion’s sake nor for profit, but only for ideological reasons: to make the world consistent, to prove that its respective supersense has been right.” (The Origin of Totalitarianism p458)

What Hannah missed was that Totalitarianism is not the end-game. It, like the propaganda of anti-semitism, racism, and imperialism of the previous century and the destruction of humanity it produced, are all tools to one end--the establishment of an elite group of people left to inherit the earth in the wake of mass annihilation unwittingly self-consummated. It is the very conspiracy she denied, and only grudgingly conceded which created the ideologically driven extermination of the last century. No, there was not a world-wide conspiracy on the part of the Jews, but there was and there remains, a world-wide conspiracy which used the Jews both as scapegoats and as implementers of the fascist/communist revolutions. The conspiracy was documented as early as 1798 by professor John Robison, (Proofs of a Conspiracy), by investigative journalist Douglas Reed (The Controversy of Zion) in the mid 1950s, by Benjamin Freedman, business associate and protogé of Bernard Baruch, also in the 1950s and early 60s, and numerous authors who chronicle the continuing debacle.

But this post is not intended to belabor the existence of this Conspiracy, which incidentally, is no longer secret at the level Hannah knew it. Today Congress is in session, bickering over scraps of power in the form of concessions to the opposition, holding hostage the Federal government and 90% of the populace. The end-game is the same--the collapse of our economy and wholesale destitution on a wider scale than Germany ever endured. We have cooked our own goose, feathers and claw, by petitioning the Federal government to solve our domestic and economic difficulties. Whether the Fed continues to debauch the currency, or Congress immediately fails to pay its bills, the debt for our collective and individual profligacy is about to come due. I'm not convinced that having been apprised of Hannah Arendt's works would have made any difference in my political or economic choices. But they have enlarged my understanding of the world I inherited, and I am a pariah in my own generation.

While intellectualism is obviously missing in large segments of the world's population, Hannah is not so dismayed by it as she is of sheer stupidity:

“Stupidity has become as common as common sense was before; and this does not mean that it is a symptom of mass society or that "intelligent" people are exempt from it. The only difference is that stupidity remains blissfully inarticulate among the non-intellectuals and becomes unbearably offensive among "intelligent" people. Within the intelligentsia, one may even say that the more intelligent an individual happens to be, the more irritating is the stupidity which he has in common with all.” (Essays on Understanding p314)

Actually I think this is an eternal condition of Man. All generations consider their predecessors more moral than themselves. It is an universal lament that corruption today is worse than it ever was. And yet we can observe through our own records the decline of the ability to reason and analyze. A decline in the ability to make discerning moral judgment. Education and knowledge is more wide-spread than ever. But that education and knowledge is the indoctrination and inculcation of meaningless facts. All one need do is behold the spectacle of Miss America pageants to discover how little wisdom and sagacity exists in the minds of these Americanese dolls. Endowed with the physical emoluments of external beauty, we have a representation of a growing class of brainless prospective mothers. What is to be done when women debauch themselves through such female operated corporations as Madmoiselle, Playboy, and Barbie?  The cerebral vacancy is not restricted to feminine chromosomes.The spectacle of male physiognomy infests the media and art platforms with productions of pre-adolescent rap by performers twice that age. Every boy dreams of being an athletic or musical superstar. Despite the technological tools to assist reading, spelling, and writing skills, their performance standard is decreasing. The shift from the hard sciences as majors in education is dropping to lows of a century earlier. With the pervasiveness of technology we see a concomitant disinterest in its innovation. The rising generation of engineers are focused on games. Communication hardware and services belie a reduction in verbal and writing communication skill.

One would think that stupidity and immaturity is the contrivance of affluence. But this is nothing new. Anyone well acquainted with the history of aristocracy during the Age of Reason knows it was just as bad among them then. The difference is, it is spreading, seemingly at the same rate as technological innovation. The more of it we have, and the higher the standard of living, the less we find in the population those possessed of the intellectual acumen of our ancestral pioneers.

Some hope manifests with the growing interest among the youth of this nation in libertarian principles and free market economy. But I fear their power of change will be confined to the rise of the Phoenix. Perhaps some salvation lies in the Web and the effect it is having like the printing press of Luther's day.

The Illustrious Age of Torpidity

There has always been a faction of people who are convinced Man must be governed for their own good. Inspect the annals of political history and it is ever present. This obsession in certain people extended its shadow over the public during the Revolutionary War. People of this persuasion are opportunists, and often True Believers. Benjamin Franklin declared the drive for American independence was rooted in the Colonists inability to control their own money, without the interference of the British government. But we are taught it was over the cause of freedom, taxation without representation being the primary cause. But that in itself becomes a ruse over time. It wasn’t the issues of taxation that caused the rebellion. It was financial losses on the part of businessmen that drove the Federalist movement for political consolidation and stronger Federal government. We have beheld the orgiastic peak in recent years of what businessmen will do to extricate themselves from their folly. It is government they turn to for advantage and ease of restriction, and government the source for financial redress. They’ve been doing this to the populace in this country the same as what has been done in others back through the ages. The Revolutionary War didn’t grant the public freedom of self-determination. It merely granted power-mongers here the privilege to do what their counterparts in England were doing to them. If there is anything to be learned from politics, it is that the nature of human beings is to grope toward fascism and despotism.

The truth of the matter is Man is the only specie on this planet capable or regulating itself by cognitive action, and has regulated itself over countless millennia, with or without imposed supervision. Speaking of supervision, there is no such action performed by governing bodies—they’ve never possessed SUPER vision. This is oxymoronic, and if anything, it’s been super-myopathy where hierarchies are present. From a psychological perspective, those who seek to define themselves through the regulation of the public welfare are universally least capacitated to do so. Our very own American grass-roots philosopher, Eric Hoffer, eloquently elucidated this character defect, as has numerous doctoral dissertation beggars attempting to categorize the human psyche in predictable patterns. Such obsessed people acquire substitutes for what is lacking within themselves—at the expense of others.

The spiral of retrograde amnesia however, is not due to the presence of this and numerous other human behavioral defects. My contention is that such behaviors are more pervasive and subtle the more complex our civilization becomes. The more pyramidal and stratified we become in our attitudes, associations, and business ventures, the worse the amnesia, and more imminent the collapse. The natural bonds that hold families, communities, and ad-hoc associations together tend to dissolution if not inhibited. More is not necessarily better. Faster is not necessarily earlier. Riches and power derived from them do not necessarily grant freedom, serenity, and certainly not happiness. Such solutions to life’s impediments to those goals in fact tend to the opposite result. Despite this cognitive recognition, the pursuit of “getting ahead” permeates business, news, sports, virtually every aspect of Western life.

The more technologically oriented we are, the more buffered our relationships become. When I was a child, neighbors still chatted from adjacent yards and joined in ad-hoc neighborhood activities. A grievance was addressed through face-to-face communication. Formal politeness and honorifics in speech were used to convey respect and friendliness. These behaviors are disappearing. The irony is that where they do exist, it is in organizations like the military. Such organizations depend on these honorifics to survive. They cannot perform their intended purpose without the camaraderie and trust such treatment engenders in their members.

Evidence of buffered relationships is most obvious with Facebook, Twitter, and other Internet based communications. Direct contact between communicants is virtually non-existent. In fact, virtual in all its social permutations is where our “advanced” society is headed. Good science fiction writing (the style that started the genre) has always been prognostic. The movie Surrogates released in 2009 is a representative theme in science fiction material, brought up to date with current technology and social patterns. Social interaction is mechanized, facilitated by complex hardware and software apps. In the last month I have witnessed more than a dozen emails among the Amateur Radio community about how there is an app for this or that function. The need for interactivity between persons is pacified with the substitute of machine tools for the sake of expediency, speed, convenience, or fear of non-acceptance. What is invented to grant more leisure time for direct social interaction of families or communities is transmuted into methods of asocial interaction. The closer we become in time and space the less we want to deal with the realities of social intercourse. We prefer to experience our relationships through virtual reality mechanisms—movies, video clips, sound bites, stage performances, and entertainment. Persons enmeshed in these mechanisms to the exclusion of regular and productive social interchanges become insipid and ethereal.

The explosion of reality and criminal justice TV shows over the last few decades follows a path similar to Harry Benson in Michael Crichton’s Terminal Man. The Media in this country, obsessed with ever higher ratings and market share, scour anything that can be made sensational. Vulgarity and crass apparently is their watchword with spectacles like the Trayvon Martin court proceedings. Of course this is not new; O.J. Simpson’s trials dominated the “news” in their time.

The consequences of this is a decrease in patience not only with the technology, but with people for small affronts or failure of expectation. Americans as much as, and perhaps more than any other culture today, will have their pound of flesh for infractions against their repose. We see it in the news repeatedly. The Boston Bombers, the Tucson Triggerman, Pompous Posters on You Tube and Facebook. There is hardly an exception to those interviewed on the evening news, being victim of some violent crime, who speak out for justice when what they really mean is retribution.

The top news stories are trivial and disgusting. They’ve become minibite emulations of Days of Our Lives, Dallas, Peyton Place, and reality shows like Survivor in their press releases, as if the news media must compete with the entertainment industry. Who cares about the personal problems of Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, or Reese Witherspoon, or Randy Quaid? How do their personal difficulties become the subject of headline news? Are people that petty, vulgar, or half-witted? Apparently so judging by broadcast content.

Who turns the TV on to get the latest top stories because of the graphics used in television production? Are people so easily manipulated by the agenda of media moguls, or is it both? Evening entertainment takes the form of Bevis and Butthead or South Park type humor. To out perform The Simpsons with its parody of family dysfunction, we get cartoons depicting and exalting the lack of intelligence, foresight, and wisdom. On the opposite channels we have game shows of every kind reflecting Frederic Bastiat’s 1873 observation: “The Lottery is the poetic vision of the poor.” And the technology to watch this drivel keeps pace with bigger and bigger LCD view screens, and iPads with their WiFi connected intravenous narcotic drip.

In concert with these banal media productions idolizing fatuousness, we’re getting graduates who not only cannot spell, but don’t want to spell correctly. In the parking lot of Sam’s club I observed a sign concerning their expansion project: “We thank you for your patients.” And another: pure filtered water. Nobody caught these before they were retrieved from the sign-making press. With all the technological aids and tutorial services today, public school graduates are not concerned with the excellence of the basic communicative skills: reading, writing, arithmetic competence, nor analytical thought. They don’t see any value in it, and we’re seeing a commensurate decline in technical competence and interest by undergraduates.

Contrast this with the African tribes who confront the social offender not with their misdeed, but with the name and song they were given at birth, or recitations of the all the good the person had accomplished. The offender is confronted with positive reflection, reminded of who they were before they committed their offense. Which people are the more civilized?

How is it this younger generation largely abhors the technical professions that brought them the gadgets and instant communication and gratification they depend on? Eric Hoffer observed of my generation it was due to the rise of affluence in the middle-class. They have so much affluence they have little to strive for but venal self-indulgence. Today the middle-class is not much larger than the working poor. The median age in America is close to middle age. When I was a burgeoning youth, I looked forward with great anticipation for the future of exploration and discovery. Today’s youth are looking forward to the maintenance of a geriatric population supported by broken political programs and economic policies. Their nation is being run by a gaggle of cronies that can’t agree on anything but plundering the last vestige of civil liberty. Children today are not in pursuit of an education that increases their perspicacity, but to find employment in a rapidly declining marketplace for the professional, and increasing demand for the common laborer or soldier. In my youth an education represented the door not only to prosperity, but new frontiers in discovery. Today’s youth view education as a lifetime of debt and destitution for all but the elite.

More people can read, but literacy remains a small percentage of the population.
More people are taught arithmetic rules and algebraic relations, but analytical skills remain fairly low.
More people are taught the concepts of artistic composition, but music and art remain blasé.
Network and broadcasting information channels have exploded, but the content is uniform and repetitive.

American media peddles the Paint Factory mystique. Europe had more leisure time in the 90s than Americans. Here there is a frantic 50+ hr/wk pace to obtain economic stability all the while escalating work place burnout, and on a larger, longer scale corporate burnout. Everywhere people bemoan the loss of business enterprise, the loss of large corporations that comprised the backbone of American manufacturing and personal affluence. The big name corporations of a century, and half-century ago are disappearing in consolidations and bankruptcies. The unemployed and uninformed cite corporate officer greed as the motive force behind the exportation of their jobs. But few if any, realize that the loss of productivity in America is not about where the jobs have gone, but why. Corporations are living entities composed of a symbiosis between the worker and the patron. Corporations have a life cycle and ultimate economic impotence just as people do. Bemoaning such losses, Tom Barrett, mayor of Milwaukee referred to the development and exploitation of the Great Lakes as a commodity rather than a natural resource to be managed and conserved for the preservation of all life. Jobs have left the northern continent not because of corporate officer greed, but because world affluence has obviated the need for a working middle-class American.

Where have we come to when we view our world in terms of economic stability and affluence, measured against the spendthrift business practices of the last two centuries?

This morning I discussed with my wife the negativity that exudes from the news channels, which are relentless in asserting their supremacy at accurate weather forecasting, breaking news stories (I abhor broken news), and the fine sifting viewers must perform to find something truly noteworthy, informative, and uplifting. Because our communication organs are largely insipid, I quit watching TV news, listening to radio news, and the banality of their programming across the modulation spectrum. Shows like Dancing with the Stars, and American Idol is like watching Sesame Street on steroids. Not that there isn’t value in supporting people in the quest for artistic excellence. It’s the system of extreme sensationalism that permeates the whole of communication networks. In the last decade there has been an unending line of movie productions escalating the computer graphic depictions of movie remakes. But where is the art? The only useful portion worth remembering in Iron Man III was Tony Stark’s introductory commentary on the hazards of hubris. Man of Steel is loaded with high tech and magic, but the characters are mostly wooden, particularly the hero who spends the majority of the 150 minutes bashing it out with his father’s enemies (who by the way loses his life to a moment of petty distraction capstoning a life of cunning preparation). Kal El can’t seem to outwit these idiots at their own game and triumphs only by assistance of his mortal counterparts. Superman was originally possessed of higher intelligence as well as morals. The appeal of the original story was traded for CGI.

The previous century was loaded with theorists who were completely off their rockers, theorizing cause and effect that had nothing to do with observed reality. Men like Freud, Chapman, Einstein, Gammow, Geovanelli, Sagan, Hawking, Hubble. The list is quite large. The best analytical research was accomplished by their predecessors whose discoveries were largely ignored. There were, and still are some physicists and astronomers who pay attention to their observations and its connection to reality. But these are largely held incommunicado by an entrenched and corrupt peer-review process. Those that manage to self organize and produce their own publicizing organs fall prey to the same traits as their opposition; rigid, intractable, pertinacious, opinionated, closing ranks on any who may wish for open discussion or debate of their research and creating the Peter Principle atmosphere in their hierarchy.

In the late 60s, philosopher Eric Hoffer observed a trend that has become the general state of the current world economy: “it is doubtful whether a non-middle-class society can be modern. Domination by aristocrats, intellectuals, workers or soldiers results in a return to the past—to feudalism, the Middle Ages, or even the ancient river-valley civilizations. It is not as yet certain whether it is possible to have a freewheeling science, literature and art, or even a genuine machine age without a middle class.” With all the advancement in technology and its affluence, we do not see a return to the Golden Age, but a further decline into stagnation and depravity. It isn’t the advanced society of Star Trek NG we see on the horizon, but the world of Blade Runner and Cherry 2000 with its cyborg counterparts.
